ACCREDITATIONS

In 2017 Blueprint Architecture was delighted to be awarded the President’s Medal for the refurbishment and extension of a private house near Dornoch from the Inverness Architects Association (IAA) who are the local chapter of the RIAS.

In 2020 the practice was a finalist on BBC Scotland's series 'Scotland's Home of the Year' and Duncan was invited to join his client for filming in Glasgow.

  • Duncan MacDonald has an M.Sc. in Advanced Architectural Studies and has been a Chartered Architect for 20 years.
  • He is a member of the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) www.rias.org.uk
  • In 2014 Duncan completed the Certified European Passive House Designer Course at Strathclyde University. This resulted in the qualification of Certified Passive House Design, which was valid for 5 years.
