Rainbows’ End, Dornoch This is certainly one of our favourite projects to date and the house was featured on Scotland’s Home of the Year on BBC Scotland in 2020. It reached the final on the TV series and we were treated to a day out to attend the for filming this in Glasgow. View Project

Oran Mor, Dornoch The house is fittingly named Oran Mor, which in Gaelic means the ‘great melody of life’. As you sit in the Lounge or on the deck and watch the ever-changing colours of the Loch, it’s impossible not to be in awe of the ‘great music’ that is encapsulated by this landscape. View Project

Embo Community Hub, Dornoch Over the years we have worked on many non-domestic buildings and quite a few former schools. Few are as beautiful or as important to their community as this former school in Embo. View Project

New House at Rhives, Golspie In theory this project would have been extremely difficult to get Planning Permission for. Not only is the design we prepared contemporary, but the site lies within the grounds of an existing Grade B Listed Building and therefore Listed Building Consent was also required for this new build project. House Extension in Fearn Our clients for this project were looking for a new Sun Lounge that would provide an extra living space allowing them to enjoy the garden and maximise natural light. Bi-fold doors enable the room to be opened up in good weather and a wood burning stove transforms it into a cosy sitting room in the winter months. View Project

Former Schoolhouse, Applecross This Former Schoolhouse near Applecross forms part of a small settlement on the ‘coast road’. Both of Duncan's grandparents originated from this area and were in the same class in 1907. This project therefore had a very special significance from the outset. View Project

Black Isle House This house has a beautiful open plan area that is flooded with natural light. The client wanted the feature trusses and these really add to the character of the living space, as does the wood burning stove that is centred on the gable and flanked by large windows. View Project
