David Critch

David is a Chartered Architectural Technologist (MCIAT) with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He is originally from Elgin where he began working in an Architect’s office in Moray. David worked with Duncan previously, while both with G H Johnston in Inverness. David is delighted to have joined Blueprint and enjoys working on a wide range of projects from new homes to hotels.

In the past David has worked on several major projects using different procurement techniques, all of which varied in size and complexity. This has allowed him to develop his skills at delivering first rate construction information packages and dealing efficiently with Planning and Building Warrant applications. He also has excellent relationships with structural engineers and other consultants, who we use on a regular basis.

David returned to university to complete a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Architecture Technology and graduated in September 2025.
