Duncan MacDonald
Duncan grew up in Alness and studied at the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen, graduating with an M.Sc. in Advanced Architectural Studies in 2001. He carried out placements in Local Authority offices in Dornoch and Dingwall. After graduating he worked as an Architect for a large commercial practice in Inverness, before moving to a Conservation Practice. It was during this time that he went down the ‘self build’ route with his own home, gaining a lot of hands on experience!
With his own house completed and a young family, he returned to Inverness, working on a mix of domestic and commercial projects. This included private houses, new office buildings at Cradlehall and the new function suite at Loch Ness Country House Hotel.
Duncan is most proud of the domestic projects he has worked on recently with a number of clients. By working together we have created beautiful homes that are truly loved by their owners.
